Cute and inexpensive I bought this book to see what these kinds of blank comic books are like. At first glance, I wasn't terribly impressed.On the other hand, when I brought it to my five-year-old granddaughter, her eyes lit up. Apparently, it's exactly what she needed to create comics she'd been thinking about.So, even if you're not dazzled by this book (and how repetitive the pages are), give it a chance... or give it to a child. When it's the right book for the right little artist... wow, it's perfect!My son LOVED it. Would not put it down My son was in love, never put it down. I loved that this helped his creativity. He is 7 and made so many comics and back stories. I loved reading them and seeing his vivid imagination. He was confident and loved the fact we all appreciated something he created. I read the reviews on how you can see on the other side but all i did was buy colored pencils and let him know markers and pens would not be best for his book. Easy peasy!Super fun! I got a couple different blank comic books for my kids. This one is nice because there is some variation in the templates from page to page, they do repeat after a few pages but it's not an identical layout on every single page like the other ones.
